Recognised Workplace First Aid Qualification

The Emergency First Aid at Work qualification is awarded by RLSS UK and is suitable for a wide range of workplace and community settings. For Northern Ireland, first aid provision should be considered in line with the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982, as amended, and HSENI guidance.

EFAW may be suitable where a workplace first aid needs assessment identifies the need for an emergency first aider. Employers should ensure their first aid provision is appropriate for their setting, workforce and activities.
